SUPERNOVA Featuring NEWSTED, LEE, CLARKE: Video Interview Posted Online

An interview with SUPERNOVA — the new all-star band featuring ex-METALLICA bassist Jason Newsted, MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee and former GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Gilby Clarke — is included on a free DVD that comes with this week's issue of TV Guide (on sale June 1),according to TVShowsOnDVD.com. The DVD, which is packed with sneak-peek clips of hot new shows, is available while supplies last in selected markets, including Baltimore, Boston, Cleveland, Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Portland (Oregon),Sacramento, san Francisco, Seattle and Washington D.C.

As previously reported, SUPERNOVA will use the "Rock Star" TV program to search for a lead singer. "Rock Star: Supernova", the second season of the the Mark Burnett-created CBS-TV reality series, will premiere on Wednesday, July 5 at 8 p.m. ET, according to Reality TV World. The show's second episode will air the following night (Thursday, July 6) before the series settles into its regular slots on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET and Wednesdays at 8. First season co-hosts Dave Navarro (ex-JANE'S ADDICTION guitarist) and Brooke Burke will both return for "Rock Star"'s second edition.
